The River Source was founded in 2003 to provide quality, affordable holistic treatment for alcohol and drug addictions. We believe in treating addiction with a holistic approach that focuses on strengthening a patient’s mind, body and spirit. The River Source recognizes that addiction begins in the mind and thus we devote significant time treating the psychological underpinnings of a patient’s addiction through counseling and individualized and group therapy. The body feels the acute effects of substance abuse and therefore we focus on physical healing through exercise, medical and naturopathic treatment, detox and nutritional therapy. We target each patient’s emotional and spiritual well-being, an often overlooked component of addiction treatment, through meditation, yoga and the structure of a 12 Step Program. The River Source treats both male and female adults aged 18 and older. Our experience has shown us that addicts often suffer from emotional or mental disorders and so we serve individuals who are also dealing with depression, anxiety, stress or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. (PTSD)

Other aspects of our treatment programs that have helped hundreds reclaim their lives and that make the River Source the place where you should come to start your recovery include:
· Each person may receive up to 48 individual and/or group sessions during a 30 day stay depending on the individual’s assessment.
· Twice weekly 45 minute individual sessions during the first 30 day stay
· Continued weekly sessions in the second or third months of treatment.
· Access to special and unique sessions such as life skills and family sessions offered on Saturdays
· Personal attention and sessions with a life coach / counselor/ educator/ behavioral health technician
